I struggled with the decision to buy this tent as there are absolutely NO reviews anywhere for it. However, I decided to risk it and see how it did as it seemed to have everything I wanted for a good price. This tent sells for close to $500 on Columbia's own site and being that Columbia is a reputable outdoor-wear company I know you get what you pay for.Right out of the bag I was impressed with the tent. The poles are solid aluminum and shock corded. A few of them are slightly curved in order to fit the tent correctly - this is normal. The aluminum poles seem pretty sturdy but I have only used fiberglass poles before so I don't know the benefits of aluminum over fiberglass for long-term durability but for now they seem pretty solid - I'm betting they will hold up well in a good, strong wind.The fly is well-waterproofed and taped and comes to within 6" of the ground on the sides. The tent itself has two mesh panels in the roof which is exactly what I was looking for - enough for ventilation. I didn't want a tent that had the majority of the walls being mesh but that was almost impossible to find it seems in a 4-6 person tent. This tent is solid walled with two doors that have zippered storm windows. The fly has a plenty of coverage over both doors to shelter them.I have only ever used tents with a tarp-type floor so I am not sure how well the Oxford polyester floor holds up under repeated use - would like an answer if someone knows. I will likely purchase an interior tarp or rug to prevent my dogs' claws from having a negative effect. The floor, like the fly is taped and sealed for water-proofing. It is a bath-tub style floor which is also something I was looking for. I always put a tarp under my tent so recommend buying a thick, cheap one.I bought this as a base-camp tent and it seems to fit the bill perfectly. I have used a small two man tent for the longest time but when out riding on horseback all day I wanted to come back to camp and comfortable sleeping quarters. There is plenty of room for two cots with a table in between. I will have my cot, a table and two dog beds in there and I think it will be just about perfect. The height is great to stand up in and get dressed, even for a tall person.While not super-easy to put up by myself (small person) it only took me about 20 minutes in my living room so it is possible, and that was including the fly, in a small space and trying not to skewer the cat. Two people, and a little more space, would make it very quick indeed.The only negatives I can find are the stakes which is why I deducted a star - they are very small and piddly, especially for a tent of this size. I would have expected to find some heavy-duty stakes for this tent. I bought some of the 10inch nail-type from a local store which I use for holding my hay tarps down so know they work well in heavy winds.I will update this review after I have tested the tent in the mountains this summer, but for now I wanted to get a review up in case other people were looking at this tent and not sure whether to buy.As always, Columbia seems to have produced a quality product and I look forward to many years of camping in it.This review is just first impressions as I have not tried it for camping yet - i
